Yes! Swatches are available in the color family you are looking for. More colors are available than shown, so call and let’s get started!
Yes! We will send you a sample choir robe and stole in the correct style. We have a limited number of colors in our samples, but shape and styling will be the same. This is one of the great things about choir robes! They easily fit up to a 64” body circumference. And with the pleated fronts, they will open even larger.
Robes can be stored at the school or organization – no more forgotten uniforms! We recommend putting your choir robes in a garment bag designated for each performer for the season. Cousin’s offers a selection of racks for storage. Quick tip: Although choir robes are not specifically sized for each performer, for the sake of hygiene and height differences, we recommend storing the robes in a labeled garment bag for the season. See garment bags here. You will never need to hear, “I forgot my uniform” again!
Yes! Since choir robes do not have direct contact with the skin, you don’t need to wash them after every wearing. The choir robes will last longer the less you wash them. Robes and stoles are machine washable in cold water and tumble dry on very low heat. Hang to dry for best results. Cool iron when needed. Dry cleaning is also an option for professional results.
This is up to each school to decide, which is the beauty of a choir robe. For a uniform look, we suggest long black pants and a collared shirt. *Warning, long skirts or socks with bare legs are not a great look under a robe. (But again, this is entirely up to you!)
Our choir robes and stoles are proudly made and customized in the United States, right in historic Philadelphia. Because we are not a reseller and manufacture our own robes, we guarantee to use top quality components, including zippers and padding. So, you can be assured you are receiving a top-quality garment.
We recommend you order 10% more robes to accommodate a variety of sizing combinations in the future. While we strive to provide color continuity for years to come, we cannot promise an exact match in the case of a fabric color being discontinued. We will work with you for the best solution, for example, the soloists could wear a reverse color option.
The stoles are reversible and can be embroidered on either one side or both sides.
A popular option is to use your schools’ name initials. Some schools also opt for a single large varsity style letter. We offer 21 fonts from which to choose. Visit CousinsRobes.com to see our font options. We do not charge a stitch file set up fee if you use one of our fonts. Lettering prices begin at $4 per letter.
We also offer a selection of stock symbols and mascots. There are no setup fees when using stock art. To access available stock art, visit CousinsRobes.com.
If you need us to design something custom, please give us a call to discuss.
Traditionally, the artwork will be placed on the left front yoke of the choir robe or the center front of either one side or both sides of the stole.
The sky is the limit on what art you can add to your choir robe or stole. The most popular choices are your schools’ monogram or logo.
